Last week my wife and I travelled down to London to attend the official launch of The Wall of Answered Prayer at the Houses of Parliament.
The event was fantastic and it was an honour to be invited to such an historical event – the start of the establishment of a national landmark that shouts of God’s goodness.
It was very interesting to hear about the design process, how the architectural competition was run, what inspired the winning architect as well as the vision behind the whole project itself.
Now that the final design and location of The Wall has been announced I see this as a significant turning point. Now there is substance to the vision, a thing to look at and a location to point at, the idea is starting to become concrete. The idea is becoming more fully formed and this is something that people can rally round and invest in.
