On Sunday night Verity and I drove down to Milton Keynes to meet up with Noel Robinson to provide the support warm-up act for this part of his current UK ‘Outrageous Love’ Tour.
It was really good having the opportunity to share the stage with the multi-award winning gospel worship leader who has recently signed to Integrity Music.
I sung four songs :
- All Things New
- Hope (a new unrecorded song)
- Fingerprints
- Unashamed
They were well received and I had the opportunity to chat with lots of people after the event. I also managed to sell a few CDs.
There were a few highlights of the event – hearing Noel and his band playing some cracking tunes was definately one of them! The other was hearing the story of a young lady whose life had been impacted and changed by the work of Compassion Ministries – born in a slum in Kenya, now holding a law degree working in London and advocating for an end to poverty, she was truly an inspiration.
The host church coped very well with an unexpected flash flood of the auditorium during a powerful rain storm that happened during the concert. Everyone was fine, although the carpet was a little damp!
